The company is based in Brno, where is its design office. The production facilities of ALTO 912TG are located in the town of Hluk in the Zlin region. Flight and finishing operations are carried out at Kromeriz airport. This region has an aeronautical tradition. The planes: L200 Morava, L13 and L23 Blanik, L410 are from this region.
The company's beginnings back to 2000, when the company handled the development and production of wooden aircraft. Since 2007, Direct Fly has been fully engaged in small-scale production of the ALTO 912TG.
At the same time, new UL / LSA - ORANGE, STOL CRUISER aircraft are under development.
The Alto is an riveted metal construction, it's a single-engine, two-seater, the wing is equipped with fins, and slotted shutters, the tanks have a total capacity of 92 liters. The Alto meets the requirements of the European ULM category as well as for the LSA category "Light Sport Aircraft" in the United States this ULM has a low maintenance cost and the piloting is simple. The cockpit has a width of 110 cm, it's very comfortable and very spacious. The canopy slides forward like the Robin (DR400), it's made from high quality organic glass and can be tinted light blue. The seats are thick and comfortable. We immediately appreciate the ergonomics of edge, a mixture of simplicity and rigor. The dashboard is accessible without contortion. The luggage compartment is accessible from both places and can receive a load of 15 kg.
